Our Mission
At Ayrshire Airsports, our mission is to provide exceptional flight training and truly memorable flight experiences. Safety, quality and value are at the heart of everything we do, all within a supportive, enjoyable and relaxed environment.
Our Fleet
Training is conducted on our modern
3-axis fixed wing Skyranger Nynja. A flight school favourite, over 1600 have been built, with over 300 on the UK register. With a closed cockpit, comfortable seating and an efficient heater, it's a pleasant place to be!
Our Team
Martin has been involved in training pilots for most of his working life. Joining the airlines aged 26, Martin flew a variety of aircraft including the Boeing 757, 767, 737, and the Airbus A320 series aircraft, attaining the qualifications of Training Captain, Airbus Type Rating Instructor and Examiner.
Following early retirement, Martin has continued his love of airborne training, this time within the microlight family of aircraft as an FI. Keen to bring his commercial experience of Competency Based Training and Threat and Error Management to the Sport Aviation discipline.
